John Decarli

John DeCarli has over 20 years of work experience in the agricultural industry. John is currently the Director of Compliance at Tanimura & Antle, where they started in May 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Regulatory & Compliance Manager at MISSION RANCHES COMPANY, LLC from 2018 to 2020. From 2015 to 2018, they served as the Senior Compliance and Pest Control Manager at Earthbound Farm. Before that, they held various managerial positions at Earthbound Farm, including Organic Pest Control Advisor Manager from 2010 to 2015 and Mission Organics, LLC - Pest Control Advisor Manager from 2002 to 2010. John began their career as a Vegetable Research Assistant at American Takii Inc from 2000 to 2002 and as a Seed Breeding and Warehouse Intern at Bruce Church L.L.C in 1999.

John DeCarli attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1996 to 2000. John earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Crop Science & Agribusiness. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the following: Certified Water Sampler from Dellavalle Laboratory, Inc in June 2017, Grower Training Course from Produce Safety Alliance in December 2016, HACCP for Agricultural Operations from SCS Global Services in January 2016, Nitrogen Management Training for Certified Crop Advisers from the California Department of Food and Agriculture in January 2016, Certified Crop Adviser Certification - CA Nitrogen Management Specialty (CA-NSp) from the American Society of Agronomy in August 2014, Private Applicator Certificate from the California Department of Pesticide Regulation in March 2013, and Agricultural Pest Control Adviser from the California Department of Pesticide Regulation in April 2002.
