Balaji Ramamoorthy

Balaji Ramamoorthy is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in cloud security and identity and access management. Currently serving as a Principal Cloud CyberSecurity Engineer and previously as a Senior Security Cloud Architect at Tanium since April 2020, Balaji has played a pivotal role in the field. As a founding member of the Cloud Security Alliance - Washington DC Metro chapter since January 2011, contributions to cybersecurity initiatives have been significant. Prior roles include Architect at Mandiant, Executive Consultant and Manager of Consulting Services at CGI Federal, and a Senior Identity and Access Management Architect at GE. Balaji's early career includes positions at Sun Microsystems, Wells Fargo, B2E Markets Inc, GE Aviation, and MAT Systems Private Ltd, showcasing a diversity of expertise. Balaji holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics from Karnatak University, earned between 1992 and 1996.
