Gordon McDonald

Gordon McDonald serves as the Senior Director of Sales Strategy & Operations at Tanium since December 2023, after holding the position of Director of Sales Strategy & Operations at Elastic from August 2021 to December 2023. In this role, Gordon oversaw Sales Strategy, Operations, and Finance for Global Solutions Architects and Renewals Organizations. Prior experience includes roles at Zendesk as Manager of Sales Strategy & Operations, BMC Software as Principal of Sales Operations, and various leadership positions in the US Navy, focusing on operational safety and training. Gordon holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the United States Naval Academy and a Master’s Degree in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School, complemented by additional education from BreakLine Education.
