Matt Nielson is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as an Engineering Team Lead at Tanium since February 2020, overseeing a team on three significant projects involving Tanium Account Management, Tanium Licensing, and Identity Access Service, utilizing technologies such as GoLang, React, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, and Postgres. Prior to Tanium, Matt worked as a Senior Software Engineer at PIMCO, leading UI development for the Proteus Risk and Analytics team and creating a web application for portfolio analytics, as well as at Microsoft where contributions included transitioning App Service Domains to General Availability as part of the Azure App Services team. Additional experience includes roles at Izeni as a Python Django Developer and at Brigham Young University as a Web Application Developer, along with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Brigham Young University earned in 2014.
