Fatma Lotfy

Fatma Lotfy brings over 30 years of commercial and investment banking experience. She currently serves as a board member at Credit Libanais, Edita, and EFG Leasing.

She previously held the position of Senior General Manager at EAB (Egyptian American Bank, an American Express affiliate). Prior to that, she held the position of General Manager at CIB Egypt (previously Chase National Bank), and Executive Director at CIIC (Commercial International Investment Company).

Fatma’s other career highlights include her tenure as the Managing Director of Al Watany Bank (currently NBK). She joined Bank Audi Egypt as the Deputy Chairman and Managing Director and was able to achieve a remarkable growth and turnaround. She had also led the restructuring and turnaround of the Bank of Alexandria during its privatization process. She was later on retainer by INTESA-SanPaolo group as the first Deputy Chairman and Managing Director of Bank of Alexandria.

Fatma was an active member of the Economic Committee of the Women’s National Congress. She is also a founding member of the Egyptian European Council and a member of the Private Equity Association.
