Rainer Leon

Rainer Leon is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Technical Lead at Tanner since February 2020, Rainer ensures adherence to software development best practices among direct reports. Previously, Rainer held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Gosocket Corporation from December 2015 to January 2020, where responsibilities included leading financial solutions development across multiple countries, while also serving as a Senior Software Analyst and Developer with expertise in Microsoft Azure. Additional experience includes a role as a Project Engineer at R9 Engineering Ltda, overseeing Linux servers and virtualization, and as the Head of the Computing Department at Universidad de Matanzas from 2011 to 2013, managing institutional software development projects. Rainer's educational background includes a Software Engineering degree from CUJAE/UMCC, a Master's in Applied Computing from UMCC, and a qualification as a Computer Science Professor from CUJAE.
