Newumal Weerasinghe

Newumal Weerasinghe has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and development. They began their career as a Cashier Customer Service at Lanka Bell in 2013 before transitioning to a Full Stack Developer role at Effective Solutions Pvt Ltd in 2017. In 2019, they co-founded STEM Labs - Institute of STEM Education (Pvt) Ltd., where they served as a Product Development Engineer and played a crucial role in the company's growth until 2021. Following this, Newumal joined Sezenta (Pvt) Ltd as a Full Stack Engineer in 2021, contributing to the company's success until 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Full Stack Engineer at Velaris, which they started in July 2022.

Newumal Weerasinghe completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and IT Major from the University of Colombo, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. After that, they pursued further education in the field of Applied Electronics and obtained a Master of Science degree from the same university, studying from 2017 to 2019.
