Charley Shumway

Charley Shumway has extensive work experience in the field of tax. Charley began their career as a Tax Accountant at The Leverich Group in 1995 and worked there until 2000. Charley then joined Ernst & Young as a Tax Senior Manager in 2001 and stayed with the company until 2013. During this time, they gained valuable expertise in tax management. In 2013, Charley became a Tax Principal at Piercy Bowler Taylor & Kern, CPAs and held this position until 2016. Currently, they are the Director of Tax at Tanner LLC, a position they have held since 2017. Charley's experience shows their commitment and knowledge in the tax industry.

Charley Shumway completed a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree in Accounting from Southern Utah University from 1993 to 1995. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1990, Shumway pursued studies in Accounting at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas but did not receive a degree.
