Steven Easthope

Steven Easthope has over 20 years of work experience in tax consulting and compliance. Steven is currently working as a Tax Director at Tanner LLC since July 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Tax Managing Director at KPMG US from October 2018 to July 2023, where they provided tax consulting and compliance services for various companies, including start-ups and multi-national corporations. Steven also worked as a Senior Tax Manager at KPMG US from February 2014 to October 2018. Before joining KPMG US, Steven worked as a Tax Manager at Wisan, Smith, Racker & Prescott, LLP from February 2013 to February 2014, where they provided federal and state income tax compliance and consulting services to various clients. Steven also gained experience as a Tax Manager at PwC from October 2004 to February 2013, managing tax compliance and consulting services for domestic and multinational corporations, partnerships, and individuals. Steven started their career as a Staff Accountant at Omniture in 2004 and as an Accounting Clerk at First Colony Mortgage in 2003. Steven also worked as a Tax Intern at Squire from January 2002 to April 2003. Steven holds a role as an Instructor at Brigham Young University from August 2000 to December 2002.

Steven Easthope completed their education at Brigham Young University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree, specializing in Accounting and Tax. Steven attended the university from 2000 to 2004. Steven also obtained certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Arizona State Board of Accountancy in July 2006 and from the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing in March 2006.
