Susan Powers has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Susan began their career as the Owner Photographer of Powers Photography, a studio specializing in portraiture and social events. Susan later expanded their business by launching two additional brands - Cupcakes Vintage Pinups and GO! Sports Photography.

Susan then took on the role of Photography Instructor at Professional Photographers of America Affiliated Professional Photography Schools. Susan co-instructed intensive photography classes across multiple locations, focusing on advanced techniques, client management, branding, marketing, and customer service.

In 2003, Susan became a member of the Fuji Talent Team Elite at FujiPhoto Film, Versailles NY. As part of this team, they served as a sponsored speaker at professional photography conventions and events, providing mentoring and training to fellow photographers. Susan also developed educational materials for sale.

From 1995 to 2000, Susan was a member of the Kodak Professional Mentor Team at Eastman Kodak Company. Similar to their role at FujiPhoto Film, they served as a sponsored speaker and mentor, providing guidance and training to professional photographers.

Susan's entrepreneurial and business development skills were evident in their roles at TruVitals and nRODx. At TruVitals, they served as the Communications Director and contributed to the launch of a veterinary/zoo zero contact vital sign monitor. Susan was responsible for creating the company's logos, authoring the TruVitals website, and developing other online resources.

As the CEO of nRODx, Susan led an early-stage biotechnology startup focused on marine asset protection using nano rod-based marine coatings. Susan successfully pitched the company to investors and secured a Commercialization Grant from the University of Florida.

Their most recent experience is with TAO Connect, Inc., where they held the positions of Business Development Coordinator, Client Success Manager, and Senior Client Success Manager. In these roles, they managed accounts and relationships for a rapidly scaling SaaS product. Their responsibilities included assisting the sales team, implementing and setting up the product for clients, creating and presenting user training, and authoring sales collateral. Susan prioritized building lasting relationships and providing exceptional client care.

Susan Powers graduated from the University of Florida in 1972 with a focus on general studies. Susan then attended Columbus State University from 1973 to 1975 and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a specialization in Accounting/ Business Administration. Later, from 1979 to 1982, they pursued a Masters in Building Construction with a specialization in Building Construction Management at the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL.
