Manuela Popescu

Manuela Popescu has extensive experience in the financial industry, with a focus on corporate finance and structured products administration. Manuela currently holds the position of Vice President - Corporate Finance at TAO Solutions Inc. since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at TAO ADMINISTRATION INC., where they served as the Vice President - Structured Products Administration from May 2014 to May 2022. Before joining TAO Administration, they worked at TAO Admin Corp. as the Manager of the Trust Accounting Group from January 2009 to April 2014. Manuela also has experience at Coventree Holdings Inc., where they played a vital role in the restructuring of the Third Party Asset Backed Commercial Paper market in Canada. Manuela served as the Principal - Senior Trust Accountant during their tenure from 2006 to 2009. Prior to this, they worked as the Principal - Intermediate Trust Accountant at Coventree Capital Group Inc. from 2002 to 2005. Manuela started their career as a Senior General Accountant at the Bureau of Authorized Expert Accountants (CA Firm) from 1998 to 2001.

Manuela Popescu holds a degree in Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne. Manuela also completed the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Certified General Accountant (CGA) programs.
