Ganlin(Gavin) Zhao

Ganlin (Gavin) Zhao has a diverse work experience with various roles in different companies. Starting in 2015, they worked as an LTE System Testing Engineer at Dell until February 2016. Later that year, from February to June 2016, they served as a System Engineer at EterNova Wireless. In 2018, they joined Cisco as a Software Engineer and stayed with the company until June 2021. Currently, since June 2021, Ganlin is working as a Senior Software Engineer at TDengine. Additionally, from 2014 to 2017, they gained experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Arlington.

Ganlin (Gavin) Zhao obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tianjin University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Ganlin(Gavin) then pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Rochester from 2012 to 2014. Later on, they attended The University of Texas at Arlington, graduating in 2017 with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Wireless Communications.
