Dawn Boulware

Dawn Boulware has extensive work experience in various roles at Taos Ski Valley, Inc. From 1993 to 2004, they served as the Human Resources Director, overseeing a range of responsibilities such as payroll, compliance, employee benefits, and training. Dawn also coordinated sustainability efforts and helped the company obtain B Corp certification. In 2018, they became the Chief Administrative Officer and in 2021, they were promoted to Vice President of Social and Environmental Responsibility. Before their time at Taos Ski Valley, they worked as a 2nd Grade Teacher at Albuquerque Public Schools and as a Legal Assistant at Leverick and Musselman.

Dawn Boulware has a BA in Political Science and Religion from the University of Redlands, which they obtained from 1987 to 1991. Dawn also completed a MA in Elementary Education from The University of New Mexico in 2004 and received a Human Resources Certificate from UNM Anderson School of Management in 1999. In terms of specialized training, Dawn completed a Wilderness First Responder Certification from Wilderness Medical Associates in 2012, Level 1 Avalanche training from Silverton, Colorado Avalanche School in 2009, and Mental Health First Aid certification from Mental Health First Aid USA in 2016. Additionally, they participated in a Leadership program from Leadership New Mexico in 2015 and received Leadership training from Lead Star in 2017. Dawn also spent a semester abroad at Lancaster University in 1990 and participated in a DC Semester program at American University in 1989.
