Rick Baca

Rick Baca is an experienced electrical engineer currently serving as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Los Alamos National Laboratory since July 2020, where mentorship of early career engineers and guidance on complex designs are key responsibilities. Baca's extensive background includes a prior role as a Technical Staff Member at Los Alamos National Laboratory, along with experience as a registered Professional Electrical Engineer, project manager, and design manager. Additional expertise encompasses design for military construction projects while at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers from February 1988 to January 1997. Since February 2003, Baca has also been a ski instructor at Taos Ski Valley, Inc., and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of New Mexico, obtained in 1985.
