Nathan S.

Nathan S. has over 9 years of work experience in the field of IT, starting in 2012 with Hewlett-Packard. In their role as a Tier 1 Tech Rep II, they were responsible for fixing computers for the Navy and Marine Corps, troubleshooting software issues, and performing maintenance tasks.

In 2015, Nathan joined Taos as a Senior Network Operations Center Administrator. In this position, they provided support for multi-cloud and traditional infrastructure, monitored and managed servers for multiple clients, and remediated issues with servers, operating systems, and applications.

Nathan advanced within Taos to become a Cloud/DevOps Engineer III in February 2018. In this role, they focused on architecting, engineering, and maintaining internal services as well as client systems and environments. Nathan worked with various cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, and OpenShift, designing and implementing scalable solutions for clients.

Nathan S. attended ITT Tech from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained a degree in Computers, Networking, and Systems (CNS). Prior to that, they attended TVCC in 2010 and obtained their GED with a specialization in Networkng and Server Services.

In terms of certifications, Nathan acquired the Security+ certification from CompTIA in March 2013. Nathan later became a Google Cloud Certified Professional - Cloud Architect through Google Cloud Certified in February 2018. Most recently, in September 2021, they obtained the Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containers and Kubernetes badge from Red Hat.
