Somya S. began their work experience in 2013 as a Software Engineer at HSBC, where they worked until 2017. Somya then worked as a Business Analyst at colsh Consultants from 2018 to 2019. In 2020, they joined Herbalife Nutrition as an Application Analyst and worked there until 2021. Currently, they are employed as a Technical Business Analyst at Tapcheck Inc.

Somya S. completed a Masters degree in Information Management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, from 2018 to 2019. In addition to their formal education, they obtained multiple certifications from Lynda.com in various fields, including Product Management and Development Foundations, Transitioning to Product Management, and UX Design. These certifications were obtained in September 2018, along with several others such as UX Design: 4 Ideation, UX Design: 5 Creating Scenarios and Storyboards, UX Design: 6 Paper Prototyping, UX Design: 7 Implementation Planning, Wireframing for Product Managers. In August 2018, Somya obtained certifications in UX Design: 1 Overview and UX Foundations: Prototyping.
