Benjamin Schmidt

Benjamin Schmidt is a Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in project management and product design. Since March 2020, Benjamin has been contributing to TAPCO in the capacity of Mechanical Engineer. Prior experience includes serving as a Mechanical Engineer at An-Kor Rack and as an Engineering Technician at Acme Machell, where responsibilities involved analyzing rubber product potential and managing product launches. Earlier positions featured project management and engineering roles at Iowa Rotocast Plastics, Inc., focusing on designing custom vendor carts and improving existing products. Benjamin began the career as a CNC Machine Operator at WalzCraft and held an educational internship at Madison Children's Museum, demonstrating a diverse skill set built upon a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
