Nick Boerema is an accomplished founder of TapEffect, a social enterprise dedicated to sustainable piped water networks, active since January 2017. Boerema has held various significant roles, including Senior Green Finance Advisor at DAI, where efforts were made to mobilize sustainable investments in Southeast Asia, and Investment Manager for Climate Finance at Mekong Strategic Capital, specializing in advisory services in the Greater Mekong Region. Prior experience includes Project Facilitator at Engineers Without Borders Australia, focusing on sanitation initiatives in Cambodia, and Project Engineer at Vast Solar Pty Limited, involved in the implementation of solar thermal electricity plants. Educational achievements include a PhD in Concentrated Solar Thermal Power and a Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Engineering from UNSW.
