Anthony Riccio

Assistant Principal, K-5 at Tapestry Charter School

Following a 12-year teaching career, Mr. Riccio joined the K-5 community in 2017 as Assistant Principal. Mr. Riccio began his teaching career as a seventh grade English teacher at the Buffalo Academy of Science and then came to Tapestry in 2010 as a high school English teacher. He also spent several years as a writing instructor and Assistant Director of Middle School Prep with the Buffalo Prep program. Mr. Riccio’s education background includes earning a BA in English from Fredonia University, Post Bacc. Certification in English 7-12 from Buffalo State College, a Master’s degree in English Education from Buffalo State College, and School Building Leader Certification from Niagara University.

In addition to teaching, he coaches travel baseball for the West Seneca Warriors and is raising three boys with his wonderful wife who teaches for Buffalo Public Schools.
