Tapestry Charter School
Chelsea Hewitt is a dedicated Literacy Specialist at Tapestry Charter School, with extensive experience in educational settings. Since September 2014, Chelsea has developed expertise in creating accessible materials and coordinating testing accommodations for students with disabilities. Prior experience includes roles as an Assistant Teacher at Colvin-Brighton Child Care, Inc. and a Graduate Assistant in Disability Services at Niagara University, where Chelsea supported approximately 80 students each semester. Chelsea's background also includes counseling for children with autism at the YMCA of Greater Rochester and student teaching in various school districts, demonstrating a strong commitment to differentiated instruction and collaboration with diverse learners. Chelsea holds a Master of Science in Education in Literacy Instruction and a Bachelor of Arts in Education, specializing in Childhood and Special Education.
