Catalin Constantinescu started their work experience at Digital River in 2000 as a Principal Software Engineer. In this role, they designed, developed, and troubleshooted e-commerce features and system-critical components. Catalin also led a development team and worked with an outsourcing team liaison. One of their notable achievements was converting commerce platform IPC channels from a database-driven implementation to ActiveMQ.
In 2013, Catalin became a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Digital River, and then in 2015, they transitioned to the role of Technical Architect/Senior Technical Architect. As a Technical Architect, their responsibilities included designing, implementing, and improving foundational libraries and services. Catalin also facilitated the adoption of modern technologies and streamlined SDLC processes within the organization. Catalin played a critical role in the development of the Webhooks micro-service, which was essential to the successful Digital Transformation effort of the Digital River commerce platform.
Catalin then joined TapestryHealth in 2023 as a Principal Software Engineer.
Catalin Constantinescu obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, successfully completing their studies from 1986 to 1991.
