Mark Holtz, MS, FACHE

Mark Holtz, MS, FACHE has extensive experience in healthcare administration and operations. Mark currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at TapestryHealth, a nationwide medical practice that provides primary and emergency care services. In this role, Mark oversees the operations of the organization and works closely with various specialists and facility staff.

Prior to their current position, Mark held several senior leadership roles. Mark was the Senior Vice President/COO at Greater Waterbury Health Network, where they managed the day-to-day operations of the hospital and had oversight of various departments and services. Mark also served as the Senior Vice President Operations/COO at Glens Falls Hospital, where they were responsible for the overall operations of the hospital.

Mark has also worked as a self-employed consultant, providing expertise in hospital and healthcare operational efficiency, physician practice management, and performance improvement. Mark has worked on special projects with organizations such as Planned Parenthood Keystone and has brought proprietary technology from abroad to the US marketplace.

Additionally, Mark has held leadership positions at Coordinated Health, Overlook Medical Center, Lehigh Valley Health Network, AmeriHealth Health Plan, and Beth Israel Medical Center. Mark'sresponsibilities in these roles have included overseeing hospital operations, developing service lines, improving patient satisfaction, and managing relationships with physicians and other stakeholders.

Mark Holtz, MS, FACHE has a strong education history in the field of healthcare management. Mark obtained their Master of Science (MS) degree in Healthcare Systems Management from Iona University, where they studied from 1982 to 1984. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College, completing their studies from 1976 to 1979. During their high school years, Mark attended Columbus High School from 1971 to 1973. In addition to their education, Mark has earned the designation of Fellow from the American College of Healthcare Executives in March 2008.
