Flávio Miyamaru

Co-founder & CEO at Tapps Games

Flávio Miyamaru has a diverse work experience in the gaming, media, and software industries. Flávio co-founded Tapps Games in 2010 and served as the CEO until 2017. In 2018, Flávio became the Co-founder and New Business for Tapps Games, and later in 2020, they returned as the Co-founder and CEO. Additionally, in 2017, they became the Managing Partner at Tapps Ventures, where they focused on creating and investing in new startups within the gaming, media, content creation, and entertainment industries. Before that, Flávio co-founded Lab360 in 2010 and worked as a Co-founder for a brief period. Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, they held a role as a Researcher at LTS - Laboratorio de Tecnologias de Software from 2008 to 2010.

Flávio Miyamaru has a strong educational background in the field of computer engineering. Flávio completed their Bachelor of Science degree at USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, they pursued a Master's degree in Mídias & Usabilidade, also at USP - Universidade de São Paulo, from 2008 to 2009.
