Jerry Vieyra

Jerry Vieyra has a strong background in manufacturing engineering and quality, with a focus on leading teams and driving continuous improvement. Jerry currently holds the position of Director of Manufacturing Engineering & Quality at Taprite Inc., where they oversee multi-million-dollar capital investment projects and commercialization of new products. Prior to this, Jerry served as the Director of Quality and Engineering at Taprite Inc., where they successfully commercialized a new dispenser design and rebuilt the Design Engineering team. Before joining Taprite Inc., they worked at Lancer Corporation as a Supplier Quality Manager, where they played a key role in the introduction of a new product line and led the Supplier Quality department. Jerry also has experience as a Supplier Development Engineer at Cargotec, a Supplier Quality Engineer at FBD Partnership, LP, a Manufacturing Development Specialist at iTEC, a Plant Engineer Intern at Aceros San Luis Grupo SAN, a Lead Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at San Antonio, a Community Assistant and Resident Assistant at the Housing and Residence Life Office at The University of Texas at San Antonio, and as a Parking and Courtesy Officer at The University of Texas.

Jerry Vieyra obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Manufacturing, C.I., and Enterprise Process Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including CSQP (Certified Supplier Quality Professional) and CSSGB (Certified Six Sigma Green Belt) from ASQ - World Headquarters, Coatings Technician Certification from the University of Northern Iowa, and CQA (Certified Quality Auditor) from ASQ - World Headquarters.
