Lauren Shirk serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Taproot Foundation since March 2022, managing the integrated marketing strategy across various channels, including email, digital content, and social media. Prior to this role, Lauren held significant positions at Chicago Run, culminating in a Director of Communications title, where leadership in the Development and Communications department was demonstrated through strategic planning and project management. Earlier experience includes roles as Communications and Creative Design Manager, Development Associate, and various positions in auctioneering and gallery management. Lauren's academic credentials include a BA in Art History from The Ohio State University, an MA in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art, and a Graphic Design course from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
