Tobias Ericsson

Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder at TAPSTER

Tobias Ericsson has a wide range of work experience, starting in 2000 as a Project Manager at Institute for International Research AB, where they focused on producing conferences in the IT/Telecom area. Tobias then moved on to work as a Project Manager at Chamber of Commerce/StyrelseAkademien, where they planned and arranged seminars within board work, entrepreneurship, and regional commercial politics. Tobias also coached and educated handling officers in implementing their own seminars. After that, they worked as a Project Manager at Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, representing the Chamber in local chamber boards of directors and gaining valuable experience in negotiations and executive-level discussions. Tobias then became the Country Manager and CEO of Mobile Choice Norge AS, Swedish branch, where they were responsible for establishing the Swedish company branch and setting up office and operations in Stockholm. Following that, they worked as a Sales Manager at Abbla AB, a MVNE, and also worked with sales of Abblas products towards companies. In 2007, they joined Spring Mobil and worked in B2B sales for medium-sized and larger companies. In the same year, they co-founded TRIWA, a watch and accessory company, where they served as Co-founder, Sales Director, and board member. During their time at TRIWA, they transformed the company into having a significant portion of turnover from B2C sales through e-commerce, market places, and own retail. Tobias also restructured the company from a fashion-focused accessory company to a watch company and built an extensive retail network worldwide. In 2019, they co-founded Batteribrev, the world's first online battery exchange service. Lastly, in 2020, they became the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of TAPSTER AB, a Swedish contactless accessory brand that aims to make contactless more accessible through quality-designed accessories with built-in NFC functionality.

Tobias Ericsson began their education at Lund University in 1995, where they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration. Tobias completed their studies at Lund University in 2000. In 1997, Tobias attended Université Lumière Lyon 2, focusing on French language studies. In 1999, they briefly studied at ESCP Business School, specializing in Corporate/International finance and earning a Bachelor's degree.
