Erica Harper

Erica Harper has extensive experience in compliance and regulatory consulting for financial institutions. Erica currently holds the position of North American Compliance Officer at Taptap Send since July 2021. Prior to this role, they served as a US & Canadian Compliance Officer at Sendwave from October 2019 to July 2021. Erica also worked at MSB Compliance, Inc. as the Director of MSB Services from October 2017 to October 2019, and as a BSA/AML Compliance Specialist from December 2010 to October 2017. Erica has a strong background in Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) regulations and compliance requirements. Additionally, Erica served as the Secretary of the ACAMS- Atlanta Chapter from June 2011 to November 2016, where they played a key role in advancing the professional knowledge and skills of anti-money laundering professionals in the Greater Metropolitan Atlanta region. Prior to their compliance roles, they worked at The Peoples Bank as a Compliance Specialist from May 2005 to December 2010, focusing on BSA/AML risk management programs and training. Erica began their career at Gainesville Bank & Trust as a Bilingual Customer Service Representative and Account Manager from 2003 to 2005.

Erica Harper attended the University of North Georgia from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Their field of study consisted of Spanish and Business. Prior to their university education, Erica Harper attended North Gwinnett Highschool from 1994 to 1998, although no specific degree or field of study is provided.
