Jasim Husain Thabet

Jasim Husain Thabet's work experience includes serving as a Board Member at Masdar (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company) since December 2022. Prior to that, they were the Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at TAQA since July 2020. From May 2019 to July 2020, they held the position of Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Abu Dhabi Power Corporation. Before that, from August 2012 to May 2019, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at the National Central Cooling Company (DFM: Tabreed). Jasim also worked as a Vice President at Mubadala from 2010 to 2012 and as a Senior Project Manager from 2009 to 2010. Jasim started their career as an Engineer at ZADCO in 2001.

Jasim Husain Thabet has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Saint Martin's University. In addition, they have obtained a Certificate in Corporate Governance from INSEAD Executive Education in October 2023.
