Umair Farooq

Umair Farooq has extensive experience in financial management and reporting, currently serving in financial reporting, consolidation, and internal controls at TAQA Group since May 2021. Previous roles include Senior Manager of Financial Planning Analysis, Financial Reporting & Control, and Manager of Financial Reporting at Etihad from November 2013 to March 2021, where Umair led finance transformation initiatives and supported cross-functional reporting. Prior experience includes a tenure as Manager Assurance at PwC, overseeing audit quality and compliance, and roles in budgeting and cost analysis at Pakistan Mobile Communications Ltd. Umair also held positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers and the World Food Programme. Umair is a qualified ACA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.
