Kamaraj Karuppiah

Kamaraj is VP of Software, Signal processing and leads physical layer software/hardware architecture, development, integration, and validation of Tarana’s wireless systems. He has more than 30 years of experience in productizing multi-antenna-based wireless access as well as ADSL and VDSL broadband systems. Kamaraj played a critical role in the evolution of the G1 platform and delivery of 5.8 GHz and CBRS products. Previously he served as a director of DSP Systems at ASSIA and also held director roles in ArrayComm where he developed multi-antenna-based PHS, WiMAX, and WLL systems. He also held engineering management positions at Centillium and Ikanos Communications. Kamaraj holds a B.E. in Electronics and Communications from PSG College of Technology and an M.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Madras.
