Dafna Shkedy

Dafna Shkedy has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Dafna currently works as a Senior Back End Developer at Taranis since June 2021. Previously, they held a role at Marley Spoon from January 2018 to January 2021, where they served as a Data Team Leader and Technical Product Manager. In this position, they led and grew a team of 5 employees, managed the technical roadmap, resource allocation, and hiring. Before that, Dafna worked at Mintigo from November 2012 to August 2017, where they initially served as a Big Data Engineer, responsible for designing and implementing data architecture, managing databases, AWS services, and rollout coordination. Later, they advanced to the role of Big Data Team Leader, managing a team of 4 employees. Dafna's earlier experience includes serving as a Non-commissioned Officer in the IDF Spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces from February 2006 to February 2008. In this role, they handled media communication for the south command, including publishing official announcements, producing articles and photoshoots, and responding to media queries. Additionally, they acted as a commander and professional lecturer in the IDF Spokesperson course.

Dafna Shkedy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Cognitive Science, which they obtained from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem between 2009 and 2012. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Biology at Tel Aviv University from 2014 to 2016.
