Heather Jones

Heather Jones is a corporate counsel at Targa Resources since August 2023, with prior experience as an associate in capital markets at Kirkland & Ellis and in M&A and capital markets at Vinson & Elkins. Heather’s legal career began at Vinson & Elkins as a summer associate and includes a legal internship at The Royal Courts of Justice, where legal research and drafting of legal memoranda were performed. Prior experience also includes roles as a program analyst at Spatial Front, Inc., program engineering support at Raytheon, a legal assistant at Kiester, Lockwood, Ciccone & Bollier, LLP, and an office assistant at EPL Oil & Gas, Inc. Heather holds a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law and dual bachelor's degrees in Geographic Information Science and Communication Sciences and Disorders from The University of Texas at Austin.
