Brendan Connelly

Brendan Connelly has over 15 years of experience in the retail industry. Brendan began their career as an intern with Donaldson, a retail company, in January 2005. Brendan then worked their way up to VP, Business Development with MJ Marketing Group, Inc. from October 2014 to October 2016. In this role, they provided comprehensive retail consulting and representation services for manufacturers of consumer packaged goods to mid-western retailers like Target, Supervalu, and Shopko. Brendan was then promoted to Director, Property Development at Target from July 2006 to October 2014. In this role, they had leadership responsibilities for an operational design team of 20, consisting of project managers, energy specialists and engineers. Their primary objectives related to optimizing the store environment to balance financial performance, guest experience, sustainable design, and operational efficiency. The team played a key role in defining design innovation, sourcing strategies, asset management, and sustainable practices for a portfolio of over a $1B in assets and systems. Brendan Connelly is currently the Director, Benefits Finance at Target.

Brendan Connelly has an MBA from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of North Dakota, and a degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy.
