Haema Nilakanta

Haema Nilakanta, PhD, is a Principal Data Scientist at Target since October 2019, responsible for developing models and algorithms that enhance business planning and operations. Prior to this role, Haema worked as a Graduate Instructor at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a Graduate Teaching Assistant and PhD student at the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota. Haema has a strong background in statistics, with experience as a Statistical Consultant and Graduate Research Assistant at various institutions. With a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Minnesota, Haema has also completed graduate classes in Biostatistics at The George Washington University and holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Iowa State University.
