Jen Gates Suzuki

Jen Gates Suzuki is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communications and risk management. Currently serving as the Lead Risk & Reputation Management Consultant at Target since July 2022, Gates Suzuki also holds the position of Director of Communications for the State of Minnesota since September 2020. Previously, Gates Suzuki was the Communications Director for Congresswoman Angie Craig at the U.S. House of Representatives and served as Press Secretary for Tina Smith's campaign. Further experience includes consulting at Tunheim, directing the Better Government initiative for the Office of Governor Dayton, and various roles within the Dayton campaign and AmeriCorps. Jen Gates Suzuki earned a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of St. Thomas.
