Kate Knight has held various roles throughout their work experience. Kate started their career in 1995 at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where they participated in a management training program and received high rankings. Kate then worked at the Mitchell Madison Group as a Summer Associate during their MBA studies. In 2000, Knight launched U-inspire, an internet start-up focused on motivational content, where they developed strategic partnerships and conducted research studies. From 2003 to 2011, they founded and ran their own strategy consulting firm, KKC, LLC. In 2004, they also worked as an Adjunct Professor at the Carlson School of Management. In 2009, Knight co-owned and directed the daily operations of Kateri Foods, a confectionary manufacturer. Since then, they have held various leadership roles at Target, including Vice President of Corporate Development, Senior Group Manager of Merchandise Finance, Senior Director of Strategy & Operations, Vice President of Services, Vice President of Innovation, and currently, as Senior Vice President of Insights, Strategy & Growth. Throughout their positions at Target, they have led growth initiatives, driven innovation, and developed long-term strategic plans.
Kate Knight received their Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Boston College, where they attended from 1991 to 1995. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Harvard Business School from 1998 to 2000.
