Shanavian Houser

Shanavian Houser serves as the Senior Manager of Community Engagement at Target, where responsibilities include driving business outcomes through community investments and managing a multi-million-dollar corporate giving portfolio across the Southern region. Currently a member of the LEAD Atlanta Class of 2023, an intensive leadership development program for young professionals, Shanavian previously held roles at the CDC Foundation as a Program Officer and Program Services Coordinator, overseeing strategic partnerships and grant management. Additional experience includes a Project Management internship with Mercy Corps, program management at CARE focusing on West Africa’s maternal health, data analysis at Habitat for Humanity International, and a Peace Development internship at The Carter Center. Shanavian holds a Master of Arts from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts from Spelman College.
