Marc Thommen

Dr Marc Thommen joined TargImmune in 2022 as Head of Technical Development, bringing more than 20 years’ experience in biopharmaceutical drug development, scaling biotech manufacturing to clinical supply and commercial launch in a number of small and midsized innovative companies.

Before TargImmune, Dr Thommen’s career included time at Santhera, Polyphor, Solvias AG and Novartis, where his responsibilities included API manufacturing and supply, analytical development, development of novel development platforms and biopharmaceutical capabilities and sitting on Executive Committee.

He holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Bern, Switzerland, and completed his Post Doc studies at Stanford University, USA.
