Otmar Lang

Otmar Lang is the Chefvolkswirt and Director of Research at TARGOBANK, where they have been since 2006, focusing on economic research and investment strategy. Prior to this role, they served as a Director of Research at Deutsche Bank from 2000 to 2006 and as a Portfolio Manager at both LGT Bank Liechtenstein from 1995 to 1999 and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Fondsverwaltung from 1990 to 1994. They are currently pursuing a degree in Economics with a focus on Mathematical Economic Theory and a doctorate on the monetary approach to balance of payments theory at Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. Originally from Cologne, Otmar enjoys both passive and active motorsport.
