Hermann Schwarting

Hermann Schwarting is a software engineer who currently works at Targomo. Prior to their current position, they worked as a Bereichsleiter at EBP from February 2010 to March 2017. In this role, they were responsible for the department "Visual Data Processing" and led a team of 6 software engineers. This included the acquisition, resource planning, project management and post-calculation of German and international projects for software development in the field of meteorology and data visualisation. As a member of the management team, they helped shape the strategic direction of the company, personnel development and internal training.

Before their role at EBP, Hermann worked as a software engineer at Spacetech GmbH from February 2008 to January 2010. In this role, they took care of all aspects of software development in the field of meteorology and data visualisation: from architecture, requirements analysis and design to release planning, implementation, testing and documentation, training and operation.

Hermann Schwarting studied computer science at the University of Potsdam, Germany. Hermann holds a Diplom degree in computer science from this institution.
