Thomas Hansen

Thomas Hansen has a diverse work experience in the field of research. Thomas is currently serving as the Vice President of Research at Targovax since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Aarhus University as an Assistant Professor from 2016 to January 2022, where they focused on non-coding RNA research, particularly circRNA, and RNA processing using high-throughput analyses, bioinformatics, and machine learning. Their research was funded by the Novo Nordisk Hallas Møller Young Investigator grant. Before that, they worked as a Post Doctoral researcher at the Department of Molecular Biology, Aarhus University from March 2010 to 2016.

Thomas Hansen earned their Phd in Molecular Biology from Aarhus University, starting in 2005 and completing their studies in 2010.
