Taras Shmygelskiy

Taras Shmygelskiy has over 15 years of experience in the wood and production industry. Currently serving as BU WOOD Director at Tarkett since July 2012, Taras previously held the role of Wood Production Director. Prior to Tarkett, Taras was a Production Supervisor at TE Connectivity from June 2009 to July 2012 and held multiple roles at PalletBiz, including Production Manager, Deputy of General Director, and Purchase Manager from April 2007 to May 2009. Earlier career experience includes serving as Purchase Manager and Economist of the production department at Swedwood from November 2005 to April 2007. Taras holds an Engineer's degree in timber harvesting and wood reprocessing from the Ukrainian National Forestry University, where education was completed between 1999 and 2007.
