Alex Emson

Alex Emson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the hospitality and conservation industries. Starting in 1998, Alex worked as a General Manager at Pizza Express for two years before moving on to Malmaison as an Assistant Bar & Brasserie Manager from 2003 to 2005. Joining Compass Group in 2005, Alex served as a General Manager until 2007 and then resumed the same role from 2010 to 2016, during which time they also became the Director of Operations. From 2016 to 2020, Alex held the position of Head of Commercial Operations at Taronga Zoo before being promoted to the role of Director of Guest & Commercial Operations. Overall, Alex has demonstrated leadership and management skills in the hospitality and conservation sectors.

Alex Emson attended the University of Birmingham from 2000 to 2002, where they obtained an HND in Hospitality Business Management. In the same period, they also attended St Mary's Catholic School, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
