Sherry Decker

Sherry Decker currently serves as the Executive Director of Tarrant County 9-1-1 District since November 2021 and has also been involved with Let it Be since February 2020 as a retiree. With significant experience in emergency communications, Sherry held various roles at North Central Texas Emergency Communications District from January 2005, including 9-1-1 Operations Manager, while also serving as 9-1-1 Operations Manager at North Central Texas Council of Governments until February 2020. Prior to these positions, Sherry worked as a Telecommunicator and Communications Supervisor at North Richland Hills Police Department for over two decades, beginning a career in dispatching in 1979 at Keller Police Department. Sherry is currently attending Kaplan University, pursuing a degree in Communications.
