Brett Bowen

Brett Bowen is an accomplished professional in law enforcement and education, currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Tarrant County College since May 2022, where instruction focuses on preparing new police recruits. With extensive experience as a Police Sergeant for the City of Bedford, TX, since February 2004, Brett leads a team of detectives investigating a wide range of criminal offenses, including cold case homicides and fraud. Additional roles include over ten years as a hostage negotiator and experience as a police detective specializing in computer crimes and evidence processing. Early career positions included Patrol Officer and Police Corporal, supervising and guiding police operations. Brett holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University, earned between July 1999 and February 2003.
