Gary McCoy

Gary McCoy is an accomplished photography educator with extensive experience in teaching both film-based and digital photography. Currently, Gary McCoy serves as an Adjunct Professor of Photography at Tarrant County College and Dallas College, where courses are offered online and at multiple campuses. Additionally, Gary McCoy has held a long-standing position as an Associate Professor of Photography at Collin College since 1994 and taught at The Art Institute of Dallas from 2008 to 2020. Prior to a career in academia, Gary McCoy operated a photography business from 1977 to 2015. Academic credentials include a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Photography from Texas Woman's University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Fine Art, Photography and Design from The University of Texas at Arlington.
