Lori Dann

Lori Dann is a seasoned journalism educator and professional with extensive experience in teaching and advising student media. Currently serving as Journalism Faculty and Student Media Adviser at Tarrant County College since August 2023, Lori previously held a similar role at Dallas College Eastfield Campus for over 13 years, where involvement led to multiple national awards for the student media outlet, The Et Cetera. Lori's writing and editing expertise spans freelance work since 2009 and various roles in sports journalism at notable publications such as the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and Montgomery Advertiser. Lori holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Auburn University.
