Suzy Parchman

Suzy Parchman is an experienced library professional with a career spanning several roles within educational institutions and other sectors. Currently serving as a Public Services Librarian on call at Tarrant County College since September 2008, Suzy previously held multiple librarian positions in the Fort Worth Independent School District, including responsibilities for library operations, collection development, collaborative teaching, event planning, and volunteer management at both Lily B. Clayton Elementary and South Hi Mount Elementary. Suzy also contributed as a Curriculum Writer for social studies and gained experience as a graduate assistant and teacher in various grades. Educational qualifications include a Master of Library Science from Texas Woman's University, along with undergraduate degrees in English and significant graduate coursework in Elementary Education. Prior to a career in education, Suzy worked as a sales representative and a licensed insurance agent.
