Kathleen Myers

Kathleen (Katie) Myers is an experienced professional in environmental management and education, currently serving as the Rural Programs Supervisor for Watershed Protection at Tarrant Regional Water District since July 2020. In this role, Kathleen oversees a Watershed Coordinator and focuses on strategic watershed conservation initiatives in collaboration with universities and conservation organizations. Previously, roles included Rural Programs Coordinator and Watershed Coordinator at Tarrant Regional Water District, as well as teaching positions in aquatic science and environmental education at Dallas Independent School District and Irving Independent School District. Kathleen also has experience as an Environment and Development Planner at North Central Texas Council of Governments and a Teaching Assistant at Duke University. Educational credentials include a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University, a Bachelor of Arts from Baylor University, and a Post Baccalaureate Teaching Certification from the University of North Texas.
