Charles Odimgbe

Charles Odimgbe has a strong background in the transportation industry. Charles served as the Chief Operating Officer at TARTA and the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority from 2020 to present. Prior to that, they were the Chief Executive Officer at RIPTA from 2010 to 2020, where they were responsible for day-to-day management, setting vision and strategic direction, and managing budgets and staff training. Previously, Charles held the position of General Manager at Veolia Transportation from 2008 to 2010, overseeing the management of Chatham Area Transit. Charles began their career in the transportation industry as the Executive Director/CEO at Stark Area Regional Transit Authority from 2000 to 2008, where they managed the system, set budget parameters, and provided strategic vision and direction. Charles has a proven track record of leadership and experience in various aspects of transportation management.

Charles Odimgbe earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Concordia University-Portland between 1985 and 1988. Charles later pursued an MBA in Business Administration from George Fox University from 1996 to 1998.
